Why Two Restaurants?
In 2002 little Jerry and his wife Staci started Whitewater Grill. Three years later Jerry's mom, Sumiko, fulfilled a long-time desire to open a truly authentic Japanese Sushi Bar. It soon became apparent both restaurants would do better combined. After a great deal of remodeling, Whitewater Grill moved in with Wasabi Japanese Restaurant and a wine bar was added along with private rooms and banquet facilities. Two restaurants and one great dining experience.

What happens when you blend Japanese, European, and Mediterranean styles of cooking? You get Fusion Cuisine... and it's available right here at Whitewater Grill. Fine dining in a casual atmosphere. Whether you favor Japanese teriyaki, mediterranean-style pastas, or european steaks and seafood, you can find it at Whitewater Grill. Located right next to the falls on River Parkway, in downtown Idaho Falls, ID.

Need a place to relax and unwind after a long day at work? Whitewater Grill's Fireside Room is the perfect place. Relax with friends, listen to music and enjoy our wine and coffee bar. There's a fine selection of wins along with Starbucks coffee, espersso and chai teas.
Wasabi Sushi Bar
Authentic Japanese Sushi! The Wasabi Sushi Bar in the Whitewater Grill is the most authentic Sushi experience in the area. Because no one else brings in highly specialized chefs that have been trained in Japan. Enjoy a variety of sushi including Maki Sushi, Migiri Sushi, Sashimi, Temaki, and Futomaki.
